BY YOU

If you wish to resign, you should do so in writing giving such notice as is specified in your Statement of Main Terms of Employment.

BY THE ORGANISATION

You will be entitled to receive from the Organisation the notice as is specified in your Statement of Main Terms of Employment.

GROSS MISCONDUCT

You will be summarily dismissed (i.e. without notice) if there has been an act of Gross Misconduct. Generally this includes any breach of duty, conduct which brings the Organisation into disrepute or action which is inconsistent with the relationship required between employee and employer; but further examples are contained at Gross Misconduct in Rules and Procedures.

RETURN OF ORGANISATION PROPERTY

On termination of employment, either by yourself or by the Organisation, you will return all training certificates gained through training delivered by the Organisation, in addition to returning your Operator Instructor Training Card (if issued with one).

You understand that you are not permitted to train individuals in other organisations on the Organisation’s products, either during or after employment.

The Organisation reserves the right to withhold up to a maximum of £1000 from your final salary to be reimbursed once all Organisation property is returned in a satisfactory condition (for example vehicles, tools, marketing materials, mobile phones, training certificates, laptops or credit cards etc belonging to the Organisation.)

All information regarding the termination of an employment and the payments (including any discretionary ex gratia payments or compromise agreements) is highly confidential and must not be discussed with anyone except the person dealing with the termination and the person receiving the information.
